ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potantial)

ORP is an acronym for Oxidation Reduction Potential. Meaning; oxidation reduction potential. It is a measure of the oxidizing or reducing power of a solution in millivolts (mV). It is also called the redox potential.

In short, the ORP measurement determines the quality of the water. If the measurement result is positive, it indicates that this water has oxidation, that is, corrosive and corrosive/corrosive effects, and if a negative value is found, this water has anti-corrosion properties, that is, it has antioxidant power.

Oxidation is caused by the exchange of electrons between two atoms. An atom that loses an electron in this process is called oxidized, and the other atom that gains an electron is called reduced. Rust formed on a piece of iron, an apple slice that turns brown in color are two simple examples of oxidation that we can often see in our daily life. Having this situation in our body causes many different diseases.
